RURAL STORE OPENING

We undertook the project to open the first ever GU store in Kagoshima store in a way that would capture the hearts of the locals while being unique to GU, we suggested to have a custom presentation of local students performing their local dance.
We tied in the youth dance group of the Kagoshima Girls Short term University and them perform the local dance ‘Ohara Bushi’. We also made a campaign giving discounts to friends invited by performer etc, creating a synergy between the event and the store opening.

鹿児島初出店を、地元民に愛されるカタチ、かつGUらしい取り組みを行いたいという課題を受け、地元の学生に地元の踊りを、GUカスタマイズでお披露目することを提案。
鹿児島女子短大のヤング踊り連とタイアップし、オープン日に店頭で”おはら節”をGUオープンver.で披露。また”友達割”キャンペーンも実施し、イベントとのシナジーを創生。
